St. Peters Chamber accepting applications for President & CEO

The St. Peters Chamber of Commerce will be accepting applications for the position of President & CEO up until the close of business on October 12, 2011.  If you are interested in being considered for this position you may submit your resume and qualifications in person at the Chamber office during regular business hours or email them to cheitmann@baxengineering.com with St. Peters Chamber-President in the subject line.  The qualifications required for the position are listed below.
 

Qualifications/Skills Required

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, and/or Communications preferred and/or a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area during which both professional and management capability has been clearly demonstrated.
  2. Experience must include strong skills in strategy development, planning and implementation.
  3. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office application, database and financial management software, website, internet, social media.
  4. Comfortable balancing complex, deadline-driven projects with essential daily tasks, employing careful priority identification and strong decision making skills.
  5. Highly organized and detail-oriented with advanced written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to maintain grace under pressure.
  6. Public speaking and presentation abilities.
  7. Strong leadership skills with entrepreneurial economic/financial background.
  8. Self motivated individual with optimism, enthusiasm and drive.
